The GreenEye is a design for a floating information and exhibition centre devoted to sustainability. It forms part of a larger complex of floating buildings connected by jetties, providing functions such as a marina, a hotel, a restaurant or a health spa. The GreenEye itself rotates once every 24 hours following the path of the sun, thereby maximizing the yield from the solar panels which surround the “iris”. The lens may be opened or closed as required to admit or exclude the warmth of the sun.
